POP Vinyl Figures

These cute little things are only a few inches tall, which means there’s room for a boatload of them!  No matter what your favorite fandom, there’s probably a series of figures to represent it… everything from Harry Potter to TV shows to entire superhero universes.  Like The Flash here, and all his DC Universe friends.  (Don’t worry, Marvel fans, you’re covered too!)

Harry Potter Munchkin Deluxe

Holiday Gift Guide: Harry Potter Edition

Hello, friends! Well, at this point, at least here in the US, we’re all still stuffed from Thanksgiving, and many of us are recovering from Black Friday and the massive kick-off to holiday shopping (I stayed home and shopped online in my PJ’s!).

So it’s time to kick back a little.  Play some games or watch holiday movies.  Put up the Christmas tree and have a mug of hot chocolate.  Then, it’s time to see who’s left on your holiday gift-giving list.

This is the second in my list of holiday gift guides (you can see the first here), and this one is 100% focused on Harry Potter.  This series has captured the hearts of children and adults for years now, and I’m more than willing to bet you have a big fan (or five!) on your list.

Here’s a sampling of all kinds of Harry Potter goodies that are sure to bring a smile to anyone who unwraps them!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (Original Screenplay)

If you have big fans of the HP universe, chances are good they’ve either gone to see this new movie, or are planning to over the holidays.  Surprise them with a copy of the movie’s screenplay in this lovely book!

Get Crimes of Grindelwald (Screenplay):     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:  Illustrated Edition

With an introduction by “Newt Scamander” himself, this lovely book illustrates all the Fantastic Beasts and provides whimsical descriptions of them.

Get Fantastic Beasts:     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

Trivial Pursuit: World of Harry Potter Ultimate Edition

I can’t imagine anything more fun for family game night! This Ultimate Edition Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit has over 1800 questions for Potter fans!

Get HP Trivial Pursuit (Ultimate):     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

(Note: As of publication, Amazon only has this item through third party sellers, but that could, of course, change at any time.  Take note when ordering!)

Harry Potter Coding Kit by Kano

Have any of us ever wanted our own magic wand?  (Better question: who HASN’T wanted their own magic wand?!?)  This kit uses basic visual coding on a tablet (tablet not included, BYO iPad!) to program a wand that can do cool stuff.  Pricier gift, but if you have a tech-loving Potter fan, this is a can’t miss item!

Get HP Coding Kit:     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

Harry Potter Wizard Chess Set

Potterheads who love strategy games, or those who already dabble in chess, will love this Wizard’s chess set.  Now, to the best of my knowledge, this set will not actually destroy itself (or anything else) during play.  But, you know, proceed with caution.  Fifty points to Gryffindor!

Get Wizard’s Chess Set:     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

Harry Potter Diagon Alley 3D Puzzle

This intricate puzzle requires patience, but the payoff looks amazing!  Build a 3D model of Diagon Alley… once you’ve enjoyed the challenge of putting it together, leave it on display.

Get Diagon Alley 3D Puzzle:     Amazon     Barnes & Noble

There we have it… some great options that Harry Potter fans would love to find under the tree this season!  I’m currently trying to decide which of these are going to show up in my living room on Christmas morning.

By the way, if you’re ordering any of these from Amazon, and you’re not already a member of Amazon Prime, it’s the perfect time to try it free for 30 days!  Free shipping for your holiday gifts, a library of videos and music at your fingertips… what could be better?  Try Prime now!

Stay tuned to the blog… I’m planning at least one more gift guide (maybe a couple!) in the coming weeks, along with some reviews of great Christmas titles to read!  Stay warm, stay safe…. and happy reading!
